Cloning Event Setup

Once you have completed the setup of one event in Producer, you have the option to clone the email sending configurations, including domain setup and email customization, and the individual clip template settings.  Before proceeding with cloning an event setup, you must be sure that all of your events have been created in Producer.

1. Select the Events list from the left side menu in Producer

2. Click the three dots to the right of the event you wish to clone from and select Clone Event.  This is the event that you have already setup your custom emails, email domain configuration, and/or clip template settings.

3. Select the confirgurations you would like to clone by ticking the boxes next to Email Config and/or Template Config. PLEASE NOTE that only a "Saved and Approved" clip template can be cloned. If your clip template has not been finalized and approved in Producer, it cannot be cloned.


  1. Click Next at the bottom right of the page.

By clicking on the down arrow to the right of Email Config, you can expand this selection and choose specific details that you would like to clone.  All email configurations, including custom email content, send dates, and domain configuration will be selected by default.

4. Using the dropdown menu, select the events you would like to clone to.  You may select as many events as you would like. When all events you want to clone to are selected, click the Clone button on the bottom right side of the screen.

You will see the cloning progress in a new window.  When progress reaches 100%, you may exit this screen by clicking on Exit on the top right of the screen.  Cloning is now complete.
