Creating a YouTube Channel
You will be hosting your ceremony on your school’s YouTube Channel. If you don’t already have a YouTube account, you will need to set one up. In order to set up the YouTube account, you will need to set up a Google Account first. For those instructions, click here. Following are instructions on setting up a YouTube Account.
- To create a YouTube Channel, you need to have a Google account. If you do not have one, follow that guide first. Click here.
- Navigate to https://youtube.com. Click the ‘SIGN IN’ button on the top-right of the screen. If you do not see this, you will already be signed in.
- You’ll be presented with an option to create a channel using your Google Account information, or to create one with a unique channel name. Unless your Google Account is purely personal, we suggest selecting ‘Use a custom name’
- You’ll be asked to enter the name of your channel and agree to terms and conditions
- The final step is to add some more information about your channel, such as a profile picture, description and social media links. This is all entirely optional, so you can skip it using the ‘Set up later’ button at the bottom of the page.
- Your YouTube channel is now set up! Now you can enter your YouTube details into Producer and it can be published when you are ready.
