Last year, it appeared that the quality of the video on YouTube was poor. I gave you HD files. How are you going to make sure the quality is better?

Your ceremony video is uploaded to YouTube at the highest possible quality. There are several factors that affect viewing that are out of our control.

  • Your internet bandwidth can affect viewing quality on YouTube. We recommend a download speed of at least 20Mbps.
  • The quality of your originally uploaded video files. We recommend all speech videos to be 1920x1080 resolution at 5Mbps. Any files at a lower resolution will be scaled up.
  • YouTube has settings that allow you view at various qualities. If your setting is set to ‘auto’ then it will choose for you, and this is typically a lower resolution than is available. To increase the resolution, go to settings and select ‘Quality’ then select ‘1080pHD’.
