StageClip Producer – Hybrid Clips & Hybrid Ceremonies
StageClip Producer – Hybrid Clips & Hybrid Ceremonies
If you’re hosting an in-person event, hybrid clips and hybrid ceremonies are a great way to recognize all of your graduates, even those who are unable to attend or uncomfortable attending the event.
- What are Hybrid Clips?
- Hybrid clips are 30-45 second individual recognition video clips that each graduate can download to their device and share on social media
- Hybrid clips feature each participant’s individual, personal content along with your branding and messaging
- Hybrid clips combine recorded footage of an on-stage moment with student submitted photos, messages and videos
- Every eligible participant receives a clip, regardless of what content they submit, or whether they attend the in-person ceremony
- Hybrid clips are included in conjunction with a full-length hybrid ceremony, or can be offered as a stand-alone gift to your newest alumni
- What is a Hybrid Ceremony?
- A hybrid ceremony combines your recorded speeches (either pre-recorded or from an in-person event,) recorded footage of the on-stage moment for each of your participants, and student submitted photos, messages, and selfie videos. Any combination of these elements can be combined in the StageClip Producer platform to create a full-length video that can be broadcast via YouTube Premieres
- Simple toggle switches in the Producer platform will allow you choose whether to include the selfie videos and/or the on-stage moment in the full-length video. Some institutions choose to exclude these elements in the interest of keeping the overall running length down. All submitted components will be included in the individual clips regardless of whether they’re included in the ceremony.
- A full-length hybrid ceremony can be broadcast 5 days after your in-person event
- Getting Started
- Setup your Producer Account and upload your logo and brand colors
- Set your ceremony and/or clip publication dates/times. These are the dates that your full-length ceremony will Premiere on YouTube, and that your individual recognition clips will be available to your participants. These can be the same or different dates
- Load your participant lists to Producer and invite them to begin submitting content
- Your Virtual Components
- Choose your virtual ceremony and/or clip theme in Producer
- Submit any speeches or video assets for the ceremony and/or clips
- Moderate the student submitted content in real time as it’s received
- Your In-Person Event
- Provide us with your AV contact information, and we’ll coordinate directly with your team
- We can receive your ceremony footage either via live-stream or post-event upload
- Using the participant ID numbers generated in Producer, provide us with a Running Order list of the participants in the order that they appear on stage
- StageClip will process the live footage and add it to Producer to be included in the virtual ceremony and/or clips
- Name reading
- As with our Virtual clips, you have the option of purchasing StageClip's AI audio to announce the student's name on the Hybrid clips
- You can also use our self-record functionality within Producer to record the student names yourself
- Important: If a student attends your in-person ceremony, the audio will be used from the moment the student crosses the stage in the footage instead of any audio you have recorded of that student within Producer.
- Creating and Publishing Your Hybrid Clips and/or Ceremony
- Using the Producer ceremony tools, order your ceremony videos as you wish and create the hybrid ceremony and clips at the simple click of a button
- Using a toggle switch, you will have the option of including or excluding the in-person footage and/or the student submitted selfie videos from the full ceremony
- Individual recognition clips will contain any and all elements that have been submitted for each participant (photo, message, selfie video, on-stage moment)
- Hybrid ceremonies can be created 5 days after your in-person footage and running order have been received
- Hybrid clips can be created 24-48 hours after your in-person footage and running order have been received
